The objective of the conference is to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Goa Revolution Day by bringing together socialist leaders from across the country and holding panel discussions on various issues, said the chairman of Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Research Foundation, Abhishek Ranjan Sing while addressing media in Margao in presence of Ravindra Bhavan chairman Damu Naik, and Anwesha Singhal, president of Konkani Bhasha Mandal and Anand Agni.
Rajan Sing said Goa is chosen for the national conference to highlight the historic importance of the state.
Ravindra Bhavan chairman Naik also spoke on the occasion.
Governor of Goa, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai will be the chief guest for the inaugural program, while Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and leader of the opposition Digambar Kamat will be the guests of honor.
The book – “Action in Goa”, revealing historic moments of the Goa Revolution will be released on the occasion, Freedom fighters and social leaders associated with Dr. Lohia will be felicitated on the occasion. Various other programs will also be held.
